  • Day 02. Full day Cultural Sightseeing Tour in Kathmandu.

After breakfast, we leave for full day sightseeing tour around Kathmandu Valley which includes our visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square, Monkey Temple, Pashupatinath Temple and Baudhanath Stupa. Evening meal in the hotel and overnight stay in Kathmandu.

  • Day 03: Fly to Pokhara and Trek to Gurung Lodge - Majgaun.

Transfer to the airport for a morning flight to Pokhara. Meet your porters and guide and begin walking to Majgaun.

About Majgaun: Surrounded by jaw-dropping views of the Annapurna's, Majgaun is a wonderful, tranquil place to stop over whilst trekking in Himalayas. Enjoy unspoilt views and nature walks of the local countryside. A visit to the neighbouring villages to get a taste of traditional, rural life in Nepal is also highly recommended.

  • Day 04: The Sanctuary Lodge - Birenthanti.

Continue trekking through the local villages, enjoying the views.

About Birenthanti village: Situated at an altitude of 1,100 meters, along the ancient trading route from Nepal to Tibet, Birethanti was once a hub of activity. Whilst its significance may have dwindled since then, it is still an excellent place to explore the Modi Khola Valley and to discover rural Nepal and the lives of those who live here. Spend the day wandering through Birethanti and enjoy a cup of tea at one of its several traditional tea shops or stumble across mule trains supplying the poorly connected mountain villages with goods.

  • Day 05: Shangri-La - Pokhara.

Walk from the lodge to the road end where you will be collected and driven to Pokahara. There is the option of visiting the Tibetan village en route.

About Pokhara: Surrounded by the snow-capped Himalayas, Pokhara is known for its magnificent mountain views, as well as its lovely lakes which have their source in the nearby glacial Annapurna Range. A place of remarkable natural beauty, Pokhara also offers splendid views of the fishtailed summit of Mt. Machhapuchhre. It's also the starting point for many spectacular treks and day walks in the area and as it is only at a height of 884 metres, some of these are not too challenging.

  • Day 06: Shangri-La - Pokhara.

Spend the day in and around Pokhara including a boat trip on the lake. It is possible to hire a microlight in Pokhara for fantastic views of the mountains.

  • Day 07: Seti River Camp - Seti River.

Drive to the rafting start point where the crew will be waiting. The river is very gentle and suitable for all.

About Seti River: Seti River links the Pokhara region with Chitwan National Park. As an alternative to driving or flying between the two, more adventurous travellers can enjoy an overnight rafting experience. The time of year will dictate the size of the rapids and speed of the river but it is suited to all, particularily those who have not rafted before. The Seti River has no road access so the river and surrounding valley remain pristine. Floating down the river gives opportunities to see village life along the banks as well as the abundant variety of birds.

  • Day 08: Kasara Jungle Resort - Chitwan National Park.

Spend the morning rafting then drive to Chitwan National Park. There should be time for a game drive in the afternoon.

About Chitwan National Park: At the foot of the Himalayas, Royal Chitwan National Park is one of the few remaining undisturbed vestiges of the Terai region, which formerly extended over the foothills of India and Nepal. It has a particularly rich flora and fauna, one of the last populations of single-horned Asiatic rhinoceros and is also one of the last refuges of the Bengal tiger. The park can be explored in a variety of ways; on foot, by boat or on elephant back. Your lodge will discuss this in more detail with you.

  • Day 09: Kasara Jungle Resort - Chitwan National Park.

Take game drives, one in the morning and the second in the afternoon. These can be by jeep, boat, on foot or on elephant back.

  • Day 10: Flight Back to Kathmandu – Transfer to Dhulikhel.

Breakfast and drive to Pokhara Airport. Take 30 minutes mountain flight back to Kathmandu. Pick-up from Kathmandu and transfer you to another beautiful hill station called Dhulikhel. Overnight in Dhulikhel. Hotel Dwarika's Resort Dhulikhel.

  • Day 11: Travel Dhulikhel to Kathmandu.

Breakfast in the hotel. Take an hour drive back to Kathmandu. Hotel check-in and afternoon you have free time for your own activities. You can go for shopping. Evening dinner at The Garden of Dreams. Overnight in Kathmandu. Hotel Dwarika's Kathmandu.

  • Day 12: Departure from Nepal.
