Mount Kailash Mansarovar Tour is a magical journey to the holy sprits in which Mount Kailash is consider as the abode of Lord Shiva. It is a part of Transhimalaya in Tibet and lies near the source to longest rivers in Asia like Indus, Sutlej, Brahmaputra and Karnali River. It is the spiritual centre for four great religions: Tibetan Buddhism, Hinduism, Jain religion and the Pre-Buddhist animistic religion - Bongo.
Lake Mansarover lies near Mount Kailash which also has religious importance. It is the combination of two word “Manas” and “Sarover” meaning Mind and Lake respectively. According to Hindu mythology it is regarded as the first lake created in the mind of Lord Brahma.
Every year thousands of pilgrims travel to Mount Kailash on believing their good fortune and wash the sins. Those who drink from the Lake Mansarover are believed to go to residence of Lord Shiva after death. This tradition dates thousands of years back.
