Our Nepal Tour with School Project programme integrates a structured visit to a rural or peri-urban community school into a standard Nepal cultural and natural touring itinerary – allowing travellers to experience one of the most important aspects of Nepal's development context while contributing practically to the educational resources available to children in communities that genuinely need external support.
The school project component typically involves: a morning visit to a school where students are in session, time in classrooms with genuine interaction (not staged performances), distribution of educational materials and structured conversation with school leadership about the school's needs and challenges. The visit is arranged with school management in advance; schools are selected for genuine need, good management and authentic welcome. The touring component covers Kathmandu, Chitwan or other Nepal destinations as appropriate. This programme is particularly popular with families travelling with older children who benefit from the direct encounter with their Nepali peers.
