Adventure motorcycle touring in Nepal combines the freedom of two-wheel exploration with some of the world's most extraordinary road scenery – from the winding hill roads above the Kathmandu Valley to the dramatic Kali Gandaki gorge track between Pokhara and Mustang, from the Araniko Highway through the Bhote Koshi gorge toward the Tibet border to the rough gravel roads of Upper Mustang north of Kagbeni. Nepal's motorcycle routes range from manageable day rides from Kathmandu to epic multi-week trans-Himalayan journeys.

Our motorcycle tours use quality bikes (Royal Enfield Himalayan or equivalent for most routes; adventure bikes for Upper Mustang and Tibet routes), experienced local guide riders who know the roads and conditions, and backup support vehicles carrying luggage and emergency equipment. Routes available: Kathmandu Valley circuit (2 days, off-road and heritage trail roads); Jomsom–Muktinath motorbike tour (12 days, Kali Gandaki gorge and Mustang country); Upper Mustang motorbike tour (12 days, gravel road to Lo Manthang through the ancient kingdom); Nepal–Tibet motorbike tour (14–15 days, Kathmandu to Lhasa via the Friendship Highway). All programmes include bikes, gear hire, fuel, guide, accommodation and meals. Previous motorcycle riding experience required for Upper Mustang and Tibet routes.
