The Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve in western Nepal is Nepal's only gazetted hunting reserve – a 1,325km² protected area in the Myagdi and Baglung districts where licensed hunting of Blue Sheep (bharal), Himalayan Tahr and other approved species is permitted under Nepal's wildlife laws.
All hunting in Nepal requires prior approval from the Government of Nepal's Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation, a licensed hunting operator and payment of government-set fees.
