Blue Sheep (bharal, Pseudois nayaur) hunting in Nepal takes place in the Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve in western Nepal – a 1,325km² designated hunting area in the high-altitude terrain of the Myagdi and Baglung districts. Blue Sheep inhabit the rocky alpine grasslands above 3,500m in Nepal's remote high-altitude zones, and hunting them requires a genuine physical commitment to reaching and operating in remote mountain terrain at high altitude.
Our Blue Sheep hunting package covers the standard 11-day programme: 3 nights Kathmandu (heritage sightseeing, government permit finalisation and equipment check), 1 night Pokhara (logistics staging), 6 days in the Dhorpatan hunting area (fly to Jomsom, road transfer to reserve, full camp established with cook and support staff), 1 night Pokhara return. The package includes government Blue Sheep hunting permit (fee set by government and subject to change), licensed Nepali hunting guide, camp equipment, cook and support staff, transportation throughout Nepal. Trophies can be exported subject to CITES regulations; we provide full documentation assistance. Contact us for current government-set permit fees and quota availability.
