Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour

The Everest Base Camp helicopter tour is Nepal's most spectacular single-day experience – a flight from Kathmandu to the Khumbu that brings the world's highest mountain and its surrounding peaks into extraordinary close-range view in under 4 hours total. The standard programme flies east from Kathmandu with aerial views of the Himalayan chain from Gaurishankar to the Everest massif, before landing at Everest Base Camp (5,364m) or Kala Patthar (5,545m) for ground-level views of Everest's summit 3,300m above.

The EBC helicopter tour is available on a private charter basis (the full aircraft for your group) and a shared-cost basis where individual travellers are grouped to share the per-flight cost. Landing altitude is 5,364–5,545m; passengers should be in good health and aware that a brief landing at extreme altitude can produce lightheadedness. The landing period is 15–20 minutes. Programmes including a tea stop at Lukla or Namche Bazaar are available. Best season: October–November and March–May.

Itinerary

5:30Am- Wake up and transfer to Kathmandu domestic airport
6:00Am – Arrive airport and check in
6:30 Am- Be ready for the flight and flight starts
6:30 AM Flight starts and takes approximately 45 minutes to reach Lukla airport for fueling. Then continue to Kalapatthar View point and Everest Base Camp for landing. You can get out from helicopter to take picture and observe Everest Himalayan peaks. The Helicopter makes rounding flight around Base Camp and takes you to Hotel Everest View for breakfasts. You will stop Hotel Everest View for about 45 minutes to 1 hour for breakfast.
10:30AM flight time to Kathmandu – 50 minutes to reach Kathmandu.
11:30 AM – Once you land at Domestic terminal in Kathmandu we will transfer you to your hotel.
