Our 10-day Kathmandu–Chitwan–Lumbini–Bardia tour is one of Nepal's most comprehensive wildlife and heritage packages – combining the cultural capital of Kathmandu, two of Nepal's finest wildlife destinations (Chitwan and Bardia National Parks) and the sacred birthplace of the Buddha at Lumbini in a single well-sequenced journey through southern Nepal's extraordinary natural and spiritual landscape.
Days 1–2: Kathmandu. UNESCO heritage sightseeing: Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Patan and Bhaktapur with licensed guide. Days 3–4: Chitwan. Comprehensive jungle safari: morning and afternoon jeep drives, canoe trip on the Rapti River, jungle walk with armed ranger, Tharu cultural evening. Day 5: Lumbini. Drive from Chitwan (2–3 hours). Full afternoon at the birthplace of the Buddha: Maya Devi Temple, Ashokan Pillar, the Sacred Garden and the international monastery zone. Overnight Lumbini. Days 6–8: Bardia. Fly from Bhairahawa to Nepalgunj, drive to Bardia National Park. Three days of safari in Nepal's finest tiger habitat: jeep drives, Karnali River canoe trip for Gangetic dolphins, jungle walk and Tharu village visit. Days 9–10: Return to Kathmandu. Fly Nepalgunj to Kathmandu. Mountain flight option or final Kathmandu exploration before departure.
