Nepal offers skydiving above one of the world's most spectacular landscapes. Tandem skydiving from a light aircraft over the Pokhara Valley – with Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre and dozens of other Himalayan peaks visible in all directions from 15,000 feet – is one of the most extraordinary skydiving experiences available anywhere in the world. Pokhara is consistently rated among the top skydiving destinations globally for its combination of altitude, mountain scale and visual drama.
You jump attached to a certified tandem master with your own parachute harness. No previous experience is required. The freefall phase lasts approximately 45–60 seconds at terminal velocity; the parachute phase takes 4–5 further minutes with the full Annapurna panorama visible throughout the descent. Everest skydiving operations departing from the Lukla airport area also operate seasonally for experienced skydivers. Both programmes operate primarily October–November and February–May when weather conditions are stable.
The Pokhara Skydive is a eight- day package, that includes 3-2 Solo/Tandem Jumps, accommodation, sightseeing tours and air and surface transfers (Kathmandu – Pokhara), plus rafting on the challenging rapids of Trishuli River. Entries are open for solo as well as tandem jump. If you want the thrill of the event but don’t want to experience solo skydiving or you have friends or family members joining you, we offer a ‘Holiday Package’ that includes one Tandem Jump and one Tandem Paragliding within the same Boogie Package.
