Paldor Peak (5,896m) is a trekking peak in the Ganesh Himal region, west of the Trishuli Valley and accessible from Kathmandu without domestic flights. Paldor is one of Nepal's most undervisited trekking peaks despite offering a genuine Himalayan summit experience with outstanding views of the Ganesh Himal massif, Langtang Lirung and the main Himalayan chain. The approach through the Ruby Valley and the Tamang heritage landscape adds exceptional cultural depth to what is already a rewarding mountain objective.
The standard route reaches base camp via Tipling village and the high pastures of the Ruby Valley, with the summit attempt from a high camp at approximately 5,200m. The climbing is moderate in technical difficulty – steeper snow slopes and some rocky sections requiring basic crampon and ice axe technique. Duration: 16 days. Includes: NMA-certified guide, porter, all meals, accommodation, Paldor Peak permit, all other permits, transport Kathmandu–Trishuli trailhead. Best season: October–November and April–May.
