Chitwan 2 Night Jungle Safari Short Break

Our 2-night Chitwan short break is the most popular wildlife package in Nepal – a perfectly calibrated programme delivering Chitwan National Park's greatest wildlife experiences in a 3-day format accessible from Kathmandu without extended travel time. The programme includes two full days of safari activity across all the wildlife encounter formats that make Chitwan one of Asia's finest wildlife destinations.

Day 1: Depart Kathmandu by road (6 hours) or domestic flight to Bharatpur (25 minutes). Arrive jungle lodge for lunch. Afternoon elephant bathing experience at the breeding centre. Late afternoon jeep safari through the core park zones for rhino, deer and birdwatching. Tharu cultural programme in the evening. Day 2: Full safari day. Predawn jeep safari for tiger tracking in the areas with highest activity. Morning canoe trip on the Rapti River past gharial crocodiles and extraordinary waterbirds. Afternoon jungle walk with armed park ranger in genuine tiger territory. Day 3: Early morning birdwatching walk. Return to Kathmandu. Package includes quality jungle lodge accommodation, all meals, all activity and park entry fees, and a licensed naturalist guide throughout.
