Our Nepal culture exchange holiday for student groups combines Kathmandu heritage sightseeing with rural village visits and direct cultural interaction with Nepali students and communities in a programme specifically designed to provide genuine two-way cultural learning rather than one-directional observation of Nepal's heritage. The exchange format means Nepali students also learn from visiting groups – the cultural transmission is genuinely bidirectional.
The standard 10-day culture exchange programme covers: Kathmandu heritage sightseeing with educational briefings (2 days), school visit and structured interaction with Nepali students of similar age in a designated partner school (2 days of classroom interaction, shared lunch and guided campus tour), a Gurung or Tamang village homestay in the Annapurna foothills (2 days, with cultural activities including cooking, farming and traditional crafts), Chitwan National Park wildlife safari and ecology briefing (2 days) and Pokhara mountain scenery with adventure activity options (2 days). Post-programme reflection materials and educational resources for follow-up classroom sessions are provided. Group size 15–50 students. Best season: October–November and March–May.
