Our Nepal team-building adventure programme gives student groups the opportunity to step outside their comfortable classroom roles and discover shared capabilities through genuine challenge in an extraordinary environment. The Himalayan mountains create inherent team-building conditions that no indoor activity centre can replicate – routes must be navigated cooperatively, altitude must be managed as a group, shared hardship produces shared resilience and the achievement of a Himalayan trekking goal creates shared pride that builds lasting team bonds.
The standard 10-day team-building programme includes: Kathmandu orientation and team assessment activity (1 day), 5-day guided Himalayan team trek (Annapurna foothills or Langtang Valley), rafting team challenge on the Trishuli River (1 day), Chitwan National Park group wildlife tracking activity (2 days) and team debrief and achievement celebration (1 day). Structured facilitation of team learning is provided by our group leader and our experienced local guides – Nepal's mountain environment provides the authentic challenge; our facilitation ensures that challenge produces articulated learning outcomes. Suitable for students aged 14+. Group size 12–30 students.
