Bisket Jatra Festival Tour

Bisket Jatra is Nepal's most extraordinary New Year celebration – a spectacular multi-day festival held annually in Bhaktapur in the first week of April (Baisakh 1 of the Nepali calendar). The festival centres on the enormous chariot procession of Bhairav and Bhadrakali through the old city streets, followed by the dramatic raising of a 25-metre wooden pole (yosin) and its ceremonial toppling to mark the new year. The tug-of-war between the city's upper and lower halves for control of the chariot is one of the most dramatic community rituals in South Asia.

Our Bisket Jatra tour combines the full festival experience with Bhaktapur's extraordinary medieval cityscape, the Kathmandu Valley's UNESCO heritage sites and a brief introduction to Pokhara's mountain scenery. Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Nepal.
Welcome to Kathmandu Valley (1360m). Upon Your arrival we assist you from airport tour hotel. Enjoy welcome programs and culture dance at evening. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing Tourn
Full day sightseeing around Kathmandu valley. Visit famous Pashupatinath, Symanbhunath, and Basantapur Durbar Square etc. overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Enjoy Bisket Jatra Festival.
Bisket Jatra Festival in Bhaktapur. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4: Free day for relaxation.
Breakfast in the hotel and you will have free time for relaxation. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5: Departure from Nepal.
Half day shopping and city exploration and then final departure. Farewell!!
