Siklis Village Short Trek – 4 Days

Siklis (1,980m) is one of Nepal's largest traditional Gurung villages – a community of stone houses, ancient temples and military heritage (Gurung men have served in the British and Indian Gurkha regiments for over 200 years) set beneath the Annapurna II, Annapurna IV and Lamjung Himal peaks. The trek from Phedi in the Pokhara valley climbs through subtropical forest and rice terraces to the village, with excellent mountain views throughout the upper sections.

Day 1: Drive Pokhara–Phedi, hike to Kalikastan (3–4 hours) through rice terraces and rhododendron forest. Overnight at a local teahouse. Day 2: Continue to Siklis village (3–4 hours). Afternoon village exploration – traditional Gurung architecture, community museum, monastery and panoramic Annapurna views. Day 3: Morning village activities, hike to Ghale Gaun (3–4 hours) through rhododendron forest. Day 4: Descend to Besisahar road and drive to Pokhara. Guide, porter, all meals, teahouse and homestay accommodation, ACAP permit included. Best season: October–November and March–May.

Day to Day Itinerary

DAY 01:
Morning - Drive to Pokhara.

Afternoon - arrive in Pokhara, meet our trekking guide and porter.

Overnight stay in Pokhara.

DAY 02:
Breakfast in the hotel.

Drive to Bijayapur and trek to Thulikot.

Trekking day 01. We walk about 4 hours today.

Overnight in Tea House.

DAY 03:
Breakfast in the tea house.

Trekking day 02. We walk about 4 hours today.

Overnight in Tea House.

DAY 04:
Breakfast in the tea house.

Trekking day 03. We walk about 4 hours today.

Overnight in Tea House.

DAY 05:
Breakfast in the tea house.

Trekking day 04. We walk about 4 hours today.

Overnight in Tea House.

DAY 06:
Breakfast in the tea house.

Trekking day 05. We walk about 4 hours today.

Overnight in Tea House.

DAY 07:
Breakfast in the tea house.

Trekking day 06. We walk about 4 hours today.

Drive back to Pokhara - transfer you to your hotel.

Entry visas for Nepal (suggest getting 30 day tourist visa for Nepal on arrival into KTM).

Personal expenses whilst trekking such as laundry, showers, internet use.
All expenses incurred in the event of early departure (transport, extra hotel nights, etc).
Personal travel / trip cancellation insurance.
Excess baggage charges (if you have more than 20 kg luggage, cargo charge is around $1.5 per kg).
